Welcome to Mount SEB School: a homely learning space where children learn and excel in studies; grow with knowledge, moral norms and values, and confidence; and shine as capable individuals. With its motto “Learn to Live and to Lead,” it aims to provide quality education in producing well-qualified scholars for the nation. The teaching and learning activities carried out within and beyond the classroom are all focused on cultivating and unfolding the talents, skills, and potentialities of our children.
As Galileo Galilei said, “You cannot teach a man anything, you can only help him discover it within himself.” Here at Mount SEB School, we not only teach our students but also try our best to unveil the veiled talent within them. Imposing our ideas on the students is not the true essence of learning; letting them expose themselves as much as possible is the best way for it. As it is said, we can lead a horse to water but cannot make it drink. So is the case here: achieving our goal means going through the free will of a person. Everyone has their own talent, aim, vision, and potentiality, so they have to be encouraged accordingly.
Our school is like a garden where different flowers show their unique beauty. In the same way, different creativities and talents have made our school run—a school with hands of creativities and minds of talents. We know that the hands learn more than the minds do. So whatever is conceived in your mind has to be brought out into practice by your hands. Conceiving only in your mind does not make you reach the destination. So it is the platform for those skills that will nudge you for propulsion which has to be continued and will surely bloom one day in the future.
You always keep on learning because it is a womb-to-womb process. Those people succeed who trot out what they are capable of. So no opportunity should be missed. Our goal is to make students learn, grow and experience success. Our children are the heart of our service, and we strive to provide a soothing learning environment that is supportive, challenging, and empowering so as to ensure that each child is encouraged to achieve their academic best.
28 years of existence is a significant milestone to achieve in the life of any educational institution. This institution now bears a glorious history that I am proud of and a part of. Our school motto, “Learn to Live and to Lead,” has eminently guided us in making an enormous stride in the education of our children. We, here at Mount SEB School, believe in the holistic development of a child – mind, body, and character.
Looking back to its history, more than a thousand students have graduated from this institution, and of course, our students are doing very well in their respective fields, proving themselves in national and international arenas. Many of our promising students are pursuing their studies and careers within the country and in different parts of the globe. They are building their careers in different countries around the world.
The fact has really made me content and gladsome. Therefore, I express my best wishes for them. May they reach the peak of success and ecstasy in the course of time! I am proud to lead a highly dedicated, committed, and capable team of the entire Mount SEB School to help our students exhibit their overall qualities and potentialities. I hope for your consecutive and perpetual endeavour that will last forever for the even more glorious history of Mount SEB in the days to come.
I would like to extend my profound thanks to our ever-supportive and co-operative parents, and guardians, qualified and intellectual teaching faculty, all my dear students, well-wishers and all those associated with us directly and indirectly together with whom I have dreamt and worked for the academic excellence.
