Today, on June 5, 2026, Mount SEB School celebrated World Environment Day with great enthusiasm and active participation from students and teachers under the theme and slogan “Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future.”
Students from Nursery to Grade 10 took part in various environment-related activities to spread awareness about the importance of protecting nature and preserving our surroundings.
A rally was organized in which students enthusiastically participated carrying placards and raising environmental slogans. The rally moved around the Jadibuti area, spreading messages about cleanliness, environmental conservation, and sustainable living.
As part of the celebration, Kindergarten students planted saplings at the Samajik Park (Manahara Park), promoting the importance of greenery and encouraging everyone to contribute towards a cleaner and healthier environment.
Senior students also actively participated in community service activities by cleaning the local temple premises, nearby pond areas and school premises demonstrating their responsibility towards society and the environment.
The celebration served as an important reminder that environmental protection is everyone’s responsibility. Through these activities, Mount SEB School reinforced its commitment to developing environmentally conscious and socially responsible citizens while encouraging students to work together for a greener and more sustainable future.
