गाईजात्रा २०८३ को पावन अवसरमा माउण्ट सेब स्कुल सम्पूर्ण विद्यार्थी, अभिभावक, शिक्षक, कर्मचारी तथा शुभेच्छुकहरूमा सुख, शान्ति, समृद्धि, सुस्वास्थ्य र पारिवारिक सद्भावको हार्दिक मंगलमय शुभकामना व्यक्त गर्दछ।
गाईजात्रा नेपालको मौलिक तथा महत्वपूर्ण सांस्कृतिक पर्व हो। विशेषगरी काठमाडौं उपत्यकामा मनाइने यस पर्वले दिवंगत आफन्तहरूको सम्झना गर्दै उनीहरूप्रति श्रद्धाञ्जली अर्पण गर्ने तथा शोकसन्तप्त परिवारलाई दुःख सहन शक्ति र धैर्य प्रदान गर्ने भाव बोकेको छ।
यस पर्वसँग जोडिएको परम्परा, सांस्कृतिक झाँकी, गाईको प्रतीकात्मक सहभागिता, हाँसो, व्यङ्ग्य तथा सामाजिक सद्भावले नेपाली समाजको विविधता र मौलिक सांस्कृतिक पहिचानलाई उजागर गर्दछ। गाईजात्राले जीवन र मृत्युको यथार्थलाई स्वीकार गर्दै दुःखमा रहेका परिवार तथा समुदायलाई एकअर्काको साथ र सहकार्यको भावना प्रदान गर्ने सन्देश पनि दिन्छ।
यस पावन अवसरमा दिवंगत आत्माहरूको चिरशान्तिको कामना गर्दै शोकसन्तप्त परिवारजनमा धैर्य, शक्ति र सहनशीलता प्राप्त होस् भन्ने कामना गर्दछौँ। साथै, गाईजात्राले हाम्रो कला, संस्कृति, परम्परा र सामाजिक सद्भावलाई पुस्तौँसम्म संरक्षण तथा प्रवर्द्धन गर्ने प्रेरणा प्रदान गरोस्।

On the auspicious occasion of Gaijatra 2083, Mount SEB School extends its warmest wishes for happiness, peace, prosperity, good health, and harmony to all our students, parents, guardians, teachers, staff members, and well-wishers.
Gaijatra is one of Nepal's distinctive and culturally significant festivals, particularly celebrated in the Kathmandu Valley. The festival is observed in remembrance of loved ones who have passed away during the preceding year. It offers families and communities an opportunity to remember the departed, express their respect and love, and find strength and comfort in togetherness.
Gaijatra also reflects the rich cultural traditions of Nepal through processions, traditional costumes, music, dances, artistic performances, humor, and satire. Beyond its festive character, the occasion reminds us of the realities of life and death while encouraging compassion, resilience, social harmony, and mutual support within the community.
On this meaningful occasion, we pay our heartfelt tribute to all the departed souls and extend our deepest sympathies to the bereaved families. May their souls rest in eternal peace, and may the families who have lost their loved ones find strength, courage, and comfort.
May Gaijatra 2083 inspire us to preserve our rich cultural heritage, respect our traditions, strengthen social harmony, and pass our cultural values on to future generations.
